Cody Rhodes To Officially Be Stripped Of WWE Championship Under One Condition

Tensions between the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre have reached a boiling point over the past few weeks, and things escalated to another level after Cody attacked Drew in his home recently.

Drew McIntyre, who has been suspended from the blue brand following his actions, was visited by the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, recently, as the two looked to discuss terms to bring him back.

However, Cody also showed up at Drew’s property and proceeded to attack the former WWE Champion, leading to security forces and Nick Aldis to separate the two rivals.

Before Cody showed up at McIntyre’s property, Drew and Nick Aldis had a verbal agreement on how to bring the Scottish Warrior back to SmackDown after being suspended for weeks.

Drew stated that for him to come back to the blue brand, he wants a title match with Cody with a stipulation of his choosing, and he also needs Aldis to draw up a contract that would strip Cody of his title if he attacks Drew before their match.

During their segment tonight on SmackDown, Aldis confirmed to Cody Rhodes that he Drew pays the fine and apologizes to Dan Angler, Cody will be stripped off the championship if he lays a finger on Drew McIntyre.
