Cody Rhodes Set For WWE Championship Defense On SmackDown Berlin

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and his challenger, Drew McIntyre, have been at each other’s throats for weeks now, as things have gotten heated and personal between the two.

The two used to be tag team champions together at one point during their career, but things have escalated way too much between them that it seems like a distant memory now.

Drew McIntyre returned from suspension tonight, after he agreed to pay a hefty fine and issued an apology to referee Dan Englar was attacking him. Following his actions, Drew announced the stipulation of his World Championship match against Cody Rhodes.

Drew McIntyre choses a Three Stages of Hell match on WWE SmackDown

As agreed upon in his conversation with Nick Aldis, McIntyre chose the stipulation for his title match with Cody Rhodes. He challenged the champion to the brutal, Three Stages of Hell Match.

Drew announced that they would fight for the title during the upcoming episode of SmackDown in Berlin, two weeks from now as WWE tours across Europe, during the Road to Royal Rumble.
