Cody Rhodes Sends 8-Word Message After Surprising Return At SNME
Cody Rhodes made his much-awaited return to WWE at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The former Undisputed Champion had not been on SmackDown since his title loss to John Cena at WrestleMania 41. Furthermore, his silence created a lot of intrigue among fans.
Rhodes was recently spotted in Orlando attending the launch of Universal Studios’ new Epic Universe theme park. This sparked speculation that he would appear on the SmackDown episode prior to SNME, but that did not transpire.
After beating R-Truth on Saturday, Cena was caught playing mind games with the World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso backstage.
In the closing minutes of Uso’s title defense against Logan Paul, Cena attacked him. To everyone’s surprise, Cody Rhodes’ music played, as he rushed to the ring and hit Cena with the Cross Rhodes. Uso then hit Paul with a spear and a Uso Splash to retain his title.
Cody Rhodes Issues Challenge For Money In The Bank
After the final match ended, Rhodes challenged Cena to partner with Paul to take on him and his ‘brother’ Jey Uso at Money in the Bank in a tag team match.
The American Nightmare later took to X to send a stern 8-letter warning to his opponents.
