Cody Rhodes Addresses Rumor About WWE Bad Blood Entrance

Cody Rhodes American Nightmare

Cody Rhodes isn’t confirming or denying if he will have a unique entrance at WWE Bad Blood.

At WWE Bad Blood in his hometown of Atlanta, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will team up with his former rival Roman Reigns in a huge tag team match against The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu, both of whom are cousins of Reigns.

The University of Arkansas Pine Bluff band recently paid tribute to Rhodes last month on August 29th when they played their version of Cody Rhodes’ “Kingdom” theme song. The performance took place during a game when the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff faced Arkansas.

This was followed by a comment by The University of Arkansas Pine Bluff posting on social media “see you soon @WWE” and then deleting it. The reason for the deletion may have been a report that the band would perform Cody’s theme song at Bad Blood.

In an interview with Billboard, Cody mentioned that “you might see” the band again.

“You mentioned the band (University of Arkansas Pine Bluff). They played that on primetime when they played Arkansas, and it’s quite possible you might see them playing it live in the State Farm Arena at Bad Blood. That was incredibly touching.”

Cody Rhodes Teases “Big Title Implications” Will Be Known At WWE Bad Blood

The WWE Championship that Cody Rhodes holds won’t be on the line at Bad Blood, but he said on the Pat McAfee Show this week that something will likely happen that will affect the WWE Crown Jewel PLE on November 2nd.

“[His title] Not on the line this weekend, but there is something that happens at Bad Blood. I guess a video package or vignette that’s going to play in the show. I got to keep it vague. There are big title implications for Crown Jewel. Sorry for being so vague, but a little spoiler there.”

Regarding WWE Bad Blood, Cody Rhodes could be face to face with The Rock for the first time in six months (the Raw after WrestleMania 40) since the People’s Champion will be in Georgia on Friday, just one day before WWE Bad Blood takes place in Atlanta, Georgia.

Here’s the lineup for WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta on October 5th.

* Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes vs. The Bloodline – Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu

* Hell in a Cell Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre

* WWE Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley (Dominik Mysterio will be in a Shark Cage above the ring)
