Cody Rhodes Reveals The Truth About Logan Paul
Cody Rhodes has pulled back the curtain.
Logan Paul has proved to be a controversial presence in WWE from the moment he made his on-screen debut with the company.
While that initial anger from fans stemmed from incidents in his past, in more recent times, his matches have been met with frustration, with many feeling full-time wrestlers are being overlooked in favour of the social media star.
In 2024 and into 2025, one man who has worked closely with Paul is Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare defended his World Championship against Paul at the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring before teaming with Jey Uso to beat Paul and John Cena at Money In The Bank 2025.
Rhodes later teamed with Cena to face Paul and Drew McIntyre on an episode of SmackDown.
During an appearance on the All The Smoke podcast, Rhodes lifted the lid on what it’s really like to have the Paul brothers around backstage. He praised the pair for being smart businessmen before crediting Logan for his desire to learn in the ring.
“There’s a softening to them (Paul brothers) and not just a softening of ‘Oh, they’re okay guys.’ They’re really smart businessmen. Here’s something I really like about Logan, I hope he doesn’t mind me sharing this.
Logan doesn’t need necessarily [sic] to listen to everybody. Anytime I’ve told him to do this in a match, man he’s all ears. Sponge. And really taking it in… that’s how I know he’s going to go further. I think Logan’s a huge part of WWE moving forward.”
Cody Rhodes Hints At Return For The Rock
On the same podcast, Cody Rhodes said that The Rock had only “scratched the surface” of his Final Boss character. Although far from any kind of official confirmation, many fans have taken this as another hint that The Great One isn’t finished as an on-screen character.
The Hollywood megastar hasn’t appeared for WWE since playing a key role in John Cena’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber. He later revealed that he’d been personally asked to work the show by Endeavor boss Ari Emanuel because of slow ticket sales.
The Rock hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Roman Reigns to beat Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the opening night of WrestleMania 40 in 2024.
