Cody Rhodes’ Two-Word Reaction To Major WWE Title Change

Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes only had two words following a huge WWE title change.

Cody Rhodes knows a little something about winning major matches in WWE. At WrestleMania 40, Rhodes finished his story to capture the WWE Championship for the very first time from Roman Reigns. One year later, Cody Rhodes lost that title to John Cena, but at 2025’s SummerSlam, Rhodes reclaimed that gold to bring Cena’s final title reign to an end.

Rhodes has also paved the way for several stars to make the jump from AEW to WWE, with the likes of Jade Cargill, Ricky Saints, and Lexis King all making that leap following in Rhodes’ footsteps.

One of those stars had perhaps the biggest win of their career at No Mercy as Ricky Saints toppled Oba Femi to capture the NXT Championship for the very first time.

Cody Rhodes took to social media to share his feelings on his good friend winning NXT gold:

Cody Rhodes Heading To Crown Jewel

Rhodes retained his WWE Championship at Wrestlepalooza when he put an end to his issues with Drew McIntyre. Rhodes is now set to head to Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia, where he will battle World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins for the Crown Jewel Championship.

Rhodes previously won that title in 2024 when he defeated Gunther in Saudi Arabia.
