Cody Rhodes Pinned At WWE Money In The Bank

Money In The Bank was not a good night for Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes as he was pinned leading to a potentially huge title match.

Solo Sikoa has taken control of The Bloodline ever since Roman Reigns lost his WWE Title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. In Reigns’ absence, Sikoa has booted out Jimmy Uso before adding Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and the fearsome Jacob Fatu to the group.

The Bloodline attempted to kick off SmackDown recently with an ‘Acknowledgment Ceremony’ but was attacked by Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton as the bad blood continues. This resulted in a six-man tag team match being made for Money In The Bank.

That ‘Acknowledgment Ceremony’ took place at the end of the night with Paul Heyman viciously driven through a table by the group after he refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief.

Cody Rhodes Loses At Money In The Bank

At Money In The Bank, fans knew they were in for a wild match as it emerged that the bout would main event the show and for good reason.

Despite the hatred flowing between the two sides, a relatively normal six-man tag team match until it inevitably broke down with the action flying everywhere and the referee being taken out. Jacob Fatu proved decisive as he stopped Rhodes from hitting Solo Sikoa with a trio of Cross Rhodes and allowed Sikoa to nail the WWE Champion with a Samoan Spike before pinning him.
