Cody Rhodes Feeling Nervous Ahead Of Date With John Cena
Cody Rhodes has admitted to being nervous ahead of his WrestleMania 41 clash with John Cena.
The bitter rivals will meet in the highly anticipated main event of Night Two of the ‘Showcase Of The Immortals’ at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on 20th April.
Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship will be on the line in Sin City in what will be Cena’s final ever bout at WrestleMania. Anticipation is rife after the pair were involved in heated exchanges during recent editions of Raw in Europe and the final SmackDown before WrestleMania on the 18th April.
During a recent appearance on ‘Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley‘, ‘The American Nightmare’ opened up about his nerves ahead of the bout, admitting that he felt added pressure after the success of last years main event:
“Those are certainly things to be nervous about, yes. Definitely more nervous about just being in front of the audience. Trying to give them something that top WrestleMania 40, which is essentially the greatest WrestleMania of all time. They’re hungry for something like that.”
