Cody Rhodes Reacts To Massive Career Moment

Cody Rhodes is excited about getting to be on the cover of the WWE 2K24 video game and he has spoken about what it means to him.

It was announced earlier on Monday that the WWE 2K24 will feature Cody Rhodes on one of the covers for the game while Bianca Belair & Rhea Ripley will be on the Deluxe Edition cover of the game.

Being on the cover of the WWE 2K video game is a huge honor because it tells the fans that the company believes in that person. Since the game is everywhere with commercials airing worldwide, it’s a coveted spot for any WWE Superstar.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Cody Rhodes spoke about what the WWE 2K24 spot means to him.

“I put it up there with winning the Royal Rumble, I put it up there with headlining WrestleMania 39. I want to go as far as I can go, and adding the 2K24 cover to that means a whole lot.”

Cody would go on to talk about what he has accomplished in his career so far and why it feels like he is living a dream.

“This run has been like an out of body experience. Every day, something’s happening. Now it’s being on the cover of the 2K24 game. That’s out of body. So what does it feel like to be on the cover of WWE 2K24? I used to go to these arenas where I was lower or a mid-card guy.”

“It’s different now. The merchandise stands are all selling ‘American Nightmare’ stuff. I always shoot for the moon, but you don’t always make it. This time, I landed.”

“Again, these are the type of things that you think about as a little kid dreaming about becoming a wrestler. You want to be at WrestleMania, you want to be on Monday Night Raw. This is a dream. That’s what it feels like. I don’t want it to end.”

Cody Rhodes Set For Confrontation With CM Punk On WWE Raw

On WWE Monday Night Raw in New Orleans on January 22nd, Cody Rhodes is set for a huge Face To Face segment with CM Punk. The two men are considered by many people to be the biggest favorites to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match this Sunday, January 27th at the Royal Rumble.

While CM Punk is a former WWE Champion who is looking to get to that spot again, Cody Rhodes is eager to “finish the story” by becoming WWE Champion for the first time and to get there, he will have to win the Royal Rumble for the second year in a row.
