Cody Rhodes Makes A Bold Claim On WWE SmackDown; Audience Calls Out Seth Rollins

Cody Rhodes kicked off the go-home show of WWE SmackDown ahead of Crown Jewel.

The American Nightmare asked the audience what they would like to talk about, and everyone had only one person in mind to discuss: Seth Rollins.

Rhodes had an interesting take on the type of WWE Superstar The Visionary is emerging to be, and pulled a parallel to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. The American Nightmare claimed that Rollins is becoming the man that Reigns was at WrestleMania 40, and the type of man that The Visionary sacrificed to himself to, so Rhodes could finish the story.

When you love WWE like Seth loves WWE, you will do anything to protect it, to keep it sacred. You’ll even let your own reality get a bit skewed. But when you start think you are the only one who can carry all of this, that’s the downfall. That’s a quest for control, a quest for power, and it tips the scales from your original intentions.

Cody Rhodes pointed out to Rollins that QB1 is a shared nickname among some of the stalwarts of the company, such as Randy Orton, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, among others.

The fans cheered on Cody Rhodes when he named the others, but called out The Visionary by chanting: “Seth Rollins is a wanker“. In fact, Wade Barrett was the one who went off-script and said it out loud on the mic!

Let me ask you this, in that world Seth, who am I to you? Because I can;t just be any wrestler. No. I have to be the wrestler, right? I’d have to be the one that you wear my gear to the funeral. I’d have to be the one that you bury me in my boots. I’d have to be the one that any on any night, in any era, under any circumstance, I am the one in your world and in mine, Seth Rollins that you cannot beat.

Seth Rollins stormed off the stage without addressing the audience at the pre-show.
