Cody Rhodes will be defending the Undisputed WWE Championship for the first time during his second run as champion at Wrestlepalooza.

At WrestleMania 40, The American Nightmare defeated Roman Reigns and ended The Tribal Chief’s 1,316 days as WWE’s top champion.

John Cena dethroned Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, but Rhodes took the championship back at SummerSlam 2025 by defeating The Champ in a Street Fight.

Cody Rhodes wants to enjoy the current WWE title run

Recently, The American Nightmare appeared on ESPN’s Get Up. He spoke about various topics and discussed the difference between the two title reigns as the Undisputed WWE Champion.

Cody Rhodes revealed that he felt a certain pressure during his first title run, but this time, he wants to enjoy it while it lasts. He believes he in a good season with the arrival of his second baby girl and having the title in hand as well.

I think uh this time around I’m really just trying to enjoy it. I mean, I spent in, you know, no matter how you look at our industry, the suspension of disbelief, I spent my whole career chasing this one. And to get it the first time, it just felt like such pressure was on. Now it’s just a good season of my life. Just had baby girl number two, the title in hand. I just want to enjoy it. Just have a good time, you know? Let’s just all have a good time.
