Cody Rhodes Reveals John Cena’s Whispered Raw Message

A huge night of Monday Night Raw may have seen WWE’s main event seen of past and present meet as John Cena introduced Cody Rhodes to the crowd in Boston.

John Cena was back on Raw and came face to face with Austin Theory who issued a challenge to Cena for WrestleMania 39. Cena initially refused the match and ran down the many, many reasons why Theory was not ready for a match with the sixteen-time champion of the world. However, Cena eventually listened to the crowd and relented, granting Theory a huge match one year after the US Champion lost to Pat McAfee at WrestleMania 38.

As John Cena was leaving the arena, he stopped to introduce a man that he feels is worthy to compete on The Grandest Stage of Them All before welcoming Cody Rhodes. The two stars embraced with Cena seemingly talking to Rhodes as they did so. Cody Rhodes has since taken to social media, seemingly sharing the key message that was shared with him – “reward their noise, every time.”

John Cena reportedly had another visitor at Raw keen to see him as Vince McMahon was backstage at the show to visit with the star. Reports suggest McMahon spent the night “in Gorilla” but was not believed to have contributed to the script of the show.
