Cody Rhodes Incapacitated On WWE SmackDown, Requires Immediate Medical Attention

The field for WWE’s men’s WarGames match is set for next week’s Survivor Series PLE. This past Monday night on RAW, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns returned to join both the heels and the faces, respectively.

With The Vision and Drew McIntyre alongside Lesnar and Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and The Usos flanking Reigns, this year’s WarGames match is set to be a huge one. Picking up from where things ended on RAW, the Vision came out to open Friday Night SmackDown, addressing their upcoming match next weekend.

However, before they could get their point across, they were interruped by The Usos and were expected to be joined by the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, but he never came to the ring.

Cody’s music hit the arena and the crowd popped in a huge cheer but were left waiting for an appearance by the champion. The titantron then cut to a shot of Cody’s bus in the parking lot and a vengeful looking Drew McIntyre walked out the bus.

It then showed Cody Rhodes lying on the floor of the bus, seemingly after a brutal attack by McIntyre, which left Rhodes bloodied. The two former WWE Tag Team Champions have been at each other’s throats for several weeks now.

Rhodes has gotten the better of McIntyre on multiple occasions, which has led to the Scottish Warrior to resort to underhanded means. It’ll be interesting to see both of them have a go at each other inside the WarGames structure come Survivor Series.
