Cody Rhodes Set For Huge WWE Champion vs. Champion Match
Cody Rhodes is on top of the wrestling world as WWE Champion but there’s another man holding gold that wants his shot at the top title.
Cody Rhodes finished his story at WrestleMania 40 to finally become WWE Champion by defeating Roman Reigns. Since then The American Nightmare successfully defended his title at Backlash France against AJ Styles but now his next challenger has made themselves known.
On SmackDown in Wilkes-Barre, General Manager Nick Aldis told Rhodes he was bringing out his next challenger for the WWE Title and it was current United States Champion Logan Paul who emerged.
Cody Rhodes Gets Chance To Complete Impressive WWE Feat
Paul told Rhodes that at King & Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia, it would be a ‘Champion vs. Champion’ match between the two men. As the two men exchanged verbal jabs, Cody Rhodes noted that if he became US Champion then he’d have achieved the status of a WWE Grand Slam Champion, indicating that both titles will be on the line in the match.

Logan Paul has already challenged for the WWE Championship in his 12 career matches, having taken on Roman Reigns for the title back at Crown Jewel 2022 which was also held in Saudi Arabia. He was unsuccessful on that occasion but one year later at the same event, Paul won the US Championship from WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
