Cody Rhodes has dropped a huge tease as many WWE fans wonder just what would John Cena wanna talk about after his retirement.

John Cena competed in the final match of his legendary career at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th. Cena battled Gunther in his final outing after The Ring General won a 16-man tournament to earn the right to be Cena’s last opponent.

A raucous crowd in Washington, D.C., was determined to give Cena the sendoff he richly deserved. However, the air was sucked out of the room when the man who preached “Never give up” for over 20 years meekly tapped out while trapped in Gunther’s sleeper hold.

Such was the anger felt at the finish, the fans showered Triple H with “You f*cked up” chants when he led the locker room to ringside to pay their own tribute to Cena.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk both presented their title belts to Cena to pose with one last time before he took his final bow and left. After the show went off the air, a very emotional Cody Rhodes stayed at ringside to have a moment by himself.

Now Rhodes has teased that more could be coming from John Cena sooner than anyone imagined, as he took to social media to share an image of Cena’s shoes and sweatbands that he left in the ring after his retirement, writing:
