Furthermore, with mid-December and John Cena’s final match coming closer, the global juggernaut needs to turn The Champ babyface again.

On Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray claimed that a situation where The Final Boss could be eliminated while turning Cena babyface was where The Undisputed WWE Champion and his challenger, Cody Rhodes, would team up against The Rock if he returns at SummerSlam.

If for some reason, you never know, the final boss decided to come back, and Cody and John together were able to thwart the final boss. Vader and Luke working together to destroy the Emperor. You could make it work.

John Cena is expected to retain the championship, and possibly lose it just ahead of his final match. On the other hand, Rhodes could dethrone Cena, which in turn will trigger his babyface turn.
