Cody Rhodes Faces Shocking Accusation From Huge WWE Star
Cody Rhodes gets called an attention seeker.
Rhodes faced the NXT Champion Oba Femi at Saturday Night’s Main Event in a champion vs champion match.
The bout ended in a no-contest after Drew McIntyre showed up and attacked The American Nightmare.
Later in the night, after John Cena hung up his wrestling boots and the show ended, Rhodes stayed at the ringside all alone, taking a moment to register that The Never Seen 17 has retired and the burden of carrying the company was on his shoulders now.
Cameras caught him having an emotional moment, where he kept staring at Cena’s armbands and shoes, which he left inside the ring.
WWE shared a clip of the sentimental moment on X/Twitter, and fans were moved to see such a vulnerable side of Cody.
However, Rhodes’ nemesis, Drew McIntyre, used this opportunity to take a huge jab at him.
The Scottish Warrior accused Rhodes of being a drama king, insinuating that all of that was just for show to make him look good in front of the cameras.
McIntyre tweeted, “Is there a camera rolling? Yeah? Okay just stay on me here.”

Cody Rhodes Attacked Drew McIntyre In His Home
Over the weekend, Cody Rhodes invaded Drew McIntyre’s Nashville home in a shocking WWE angle.
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis paid a visit to Drew, who is suspended for attacking referee Dan Engler, to negotiate his reinstatement.
Aldis offered an Undisputed WWE Title shot at Rhodes if Drew apologized to ref Dan Engler and paid a fine from the Survivor Series: WarGames earnings.
Drew agreed to match, but moments later, his phone buzzed with a security alert, showing Cody pulling up to his house.
He accused Aldis of a setup, and they rushed outside, where security was holding Cody back.
Cody broke free, charged Drew at the door, and the two brawled hard on the grass, trading punches until more guards and police pulled them apart.
