CM Punk’s WWE SummerSlam Plans Reportedly Revealed

CM Punk is going to be at SummerSlam.

With WWE SummerSlam fast approaching, all eyes are on The Best in the World and what role he will play at the biggest party of the summer this year. While fans have speculated everything from a singles match to a shocking heel turn, a new report has shed some light on what WWE might have planned for him, and it may involve none other than his bitter rival, Seth Rollins.

Another match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins is possible

According to WrestleVotes Q&A via Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, CM Punk is expected to be involved in some kind of match at SummerSlam, and Rollins will very likely be part of it. However, it doesn’t sound like it will be a traditional one-on-one clash.

“I think they’ll be tied together. I don’t know if it’ll be a one-on-one match,” the report stated. “I personally would love if the briefcase was on the line in some kind of match. It’s not something I’ve heard, but I think that would be fun. It could be a tag match. There’s about 8 or 9 people involved in this feud now, so that might make sense, but I do think in some form or fashion, Punk and Rollins will be connected at SummerSlam.” [5:55 – 6:17]
