Truth Revealed About CM Punk’s Injury After Scary Raw Botch
CM Punk became a victim of a scary botch on WWE RAW.
On the January 5 edition of Stranger Things-themed RAW, The Best in the World defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker.
During the match, Punk performed a suicided dive but took a hard, face-first landing onto the floor outside the ring.
Despite the scary botch, he finished the match to retain his belt.
There were reports that Punk was placed in the WWE’s concussion protocol following the match. Fans even went online and expressed their concern for the 47-year-old veteran.
PWInsider provided a new update on the matter, clarifying that Punk was not placed under a concussion protocol because he was fine.
CM Punk Set To Take On A New Outside WWE Project
CM Punk had a new interview with Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, where he disclosed that he’s taking on a new project outside WWE, a role to direct a movie.
Punk added that it’s unlike something he’s done before, so it’s scary but exciting too.
It’s been offered. It’s one of those things, a lot like writing comic books or fighting in the UFC that, it was offered to me and it’s kind of unknown and scary, so now I have to do it. I think the VHS series is a pretty good way to get my feet wet in that regard.
It’s definitely something that is more than likely going to happen in the next year. I got to, it got offered to me, and I went ‘what why me?’ ‘Why not?’ Okay, now I’ve gotta do this.
