CM Punk Claims Someone In WWE Might Be Trying To Kill Him

CM Punk upset

Is CM Punk’s life in danger?

CM Punk and his WarGames teammates had a wild night on RAW this week. Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns took on Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar.

The two teams will officially have a match at the upcoming WarGames match at Survivor Series on November 29.

CM Punk Gets Sarcastic In An Interview

Ahead of the PLE, The Second City Saint sat down with Mark Titus and Brandon Walker of Mostly Sports. During the interview, he revealed that WWE booked him in a ton of cage matches last year.

He humorously insinuated that someone must be after his life for giving him so many cage match fights.

For some reason, last year I was like cage match all-star, like MVP. I was just doing cage matches left and right.

Did Hell in a Cell, did War Games, and then they’re like, “Hey, we’re going to do a bunch of Christmas live events and we’re going to put you in a cage with Gunther.”

And I was like, “Oh, cool.” So maybe somebody might be trying to kill me. (From 1:02:05)

During the same interview, CM Punk was also asked to comment on John Cena’s retirement. He claimed that he feels he is one of the lucky ones who’s getting to watch Cena ride off into the sunset.

Watching him kind of like gracefully bow out has been just tremendously rewarding. Obviously, he’s somebody who, you know, we’re calling him the goat.

It’s very subjective, you know, but in my lifetime, in my career, like somebody who always led by example, box office superstar, charismatic, through the roof, great on the mic, does all the PR, you know. Over the last 20 years, 100% the GOAT. (From 1:18:41)
