CM Punk Vs. Jey Uso’s WWE SNME Match Can Only End One Way

CM Punk and Jey Uso are set to clash for the World Heavyweight Championship tonight at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

After winning the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania against Gunther, Jey Uso lost it again to The Ring General two months later. The Austrian star’s championship reign then ended at the hands of CM Punk at SummerSlam.

Although The Second City Saint’s run with the World Heavyweight Championship only lasted a few minutes before Seth Rollins dethroned him after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract, he will now have another shot to regain it after winning a number-one contender’s match a few weeks ago on RAW.

Meanwhile, Jey Uso earned an opportunity to become World Heavyweight Champion again after winning a Battle Royal on RAW two weeks ago to determine Punk’s opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event after Seth Rollins vacated the title due to injury.

Ex-WWE Writer Is Convinced CM Punk Will Win At Saturday Night’s Main Event

On a recent episode of his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. gave his predictions for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

While addressing the upcoming clash between CM Punk and Jey Uso, he predicted that The Second City Saint will leave the show with the World Heavyweight Championship. The Hollywood star speculated that Punk would then continue his feud with The Vision over the title.

CM Punk vs. Jey Uso. I really eanted this to be CM Punk vs. someone else. And it’s nothing against Jey. I think they’ll give a good match, but I feel like I’ve seen this match a bunch. And I feel like it’s an easy match to pick because you don’t pick against CM Punk, especially on a Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Or maybe I’m tripping. And he’s like, ‘Yeah, I’ll lose on Saturday Night’s Main Event, but not on the pay-per-view.’ Maybe it’s that. No, it’s not that. He’s gonna win this match. You know, I don’t see another way for this to go except for CM Punk to become the World Heavyweight Champion and then for The Vision to start pursuing him and making his life miserable.
