CM Punk Trolled By WWE Star Over Messy AEW Botch

One of CM Punk’s oldest rivals has poked fun at the WWE star by highlighting an unfortunate botch in an AEW ring.

CM Punk’s ill-fated time in AEW ended when he was fired by Tony Khan in 2023 after a backstage altercation with Jack Perry. Punk soon returned to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 and since then he’s been a regular fixture in the company despite an injury that led to him missing 8 months from the ring in 2024.

Now another ex-AEW star has joined CM Punk as Penta made his long-awaited WWE debut on the January 13 edition of Raw. Penta defeated Chad Gable before cutting a passionate promo that went down well with fans, however, it seems Penta may have upset some of his fellow WWE stars in the process.

Dominik Mysterio Shares CM Punk’s AEW Mistake

Following that match, WWE on social media asked who was a dream opponent for Penta and that pesky Dominik Mysterio took his chance at mining some comedy gold.

Dominik Mysterio responded to the post by tagging Punk as his suggestion while sharing a GIF of Punk messing up a move against Penta in AEW.

Dominik Mysterio clearly has not forgotten CM Punk tormenting him as a child when he was in a feud with Rey Mysterio.
