CM Punk To Make Sensational Return To WWE Raw
WWE has announced CM Punk is returning to Raw.
In a surprise announcement, WWE has revealed that CM Punk will be on Monday Night Raw when the red brand returns to Chicago. WWE is due to land in the Windy City on March 25th.
The show will come live from the Allstate Arena, and extra seats are being made available as it was already sold out. This will be the first time Punk has returned to Chicago since his return to WWE at Survivor Series in the same arena back in November 2023.
The news comes after CM Punk was advertised for the WrestleMania go-home edition of Raw on April 1st. The appearances have sparked speculation that Punk could still be involved at WrestleMania in some way despite being out of action with torn triceps.
What Was CM Punk Supposed to Be Doing At WrestleMania?
CM Punk has been out of action since getting injured in the men’s Royal Rumble match while taking a Future Shock DDT from Drew McIntyre. In the weeks since the incident, McIntyre has reveled in his new heelish persona taking credit for putting Punk on the shelf, repeatedly taking shots at the former AEW star on social media.
Prior to getting injured, CM Punk had been due to win the Elimination Chamber, before going on to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. In something of a twist of fate, Punk’s spot has been taken by McIntyre.
