CM Punk Makes Hilarious Prediction About Seth Rollins’ WWE WrestleMania Status
CM Punk and Seth Rollins are bitter rivals in WWE.
Seth Rollins suffered a serious injury earlier this year during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel in Perth. He went under the knife last month and is reportedly out of action for an indefinite amount of time.
With Survivor Series just around the corner, CM Punk appeared on Kay Adams’ Up and Adams Show, where he was asked about WWE’s single-event tickets for WrestleMania 42.
Responding to the question, The Second City Saint took a brutal shot at his arch-nemesis, Seth Rollins.
Punk predicted that Rollins would still be on the shelf during WrestleMania 42. Therefore, he should buy a ticket for himself to watch his wife, Becky Lynch, in action.
“The single ticket thing is interesting because it affords somebody like Seth Rollins the ability to buy a ticket because his wife will undoubtedly be on the show and he will be on the sideline.
So, he can buy a ticket by himself. He could sit in the chair. If he spends enough money, he can take the chair home with him and he can repeatedly beat himself in the head with it,” Punk said.
There is no definite timeline given for Rollins’ return to WWE. But The Visionary is hoping to return at WrestleMania 42.
Seth Rollins Might Make It To WrestleMania 42
While talking to Bert Kreischer on Something’s Burning, Seth Rollins stated he is positive that he will be back in action around WrestleMania season next year.
Once I get [the sling] off, which is in like another month, then it might be full vacation mode for a little while, before I lock in and have to start training to get ready to come back.
It’ll probably be gradual. I don’t even really know. My guess is eight to 12 weeks of, ‘Okay, now I have to stop eating like an a**hole.’ Probably 12 weeks.
Plus, we’ll be moving right into WrestleMania season. I’m hoping around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start to be like, ‘Lock in. No more BS.’
