CM Punk & Roman Reigns Confirmed For WWE SmackDown

CM Punk

CM Punk and Roman Reigns will be under the same roof for the 21st March edition of SmackDown.

‘The Second City Saint’ is on the warpath for revenge after being assaulted by Reigns at the conclusion of the 10th March episode of Raw.

Reigns made his presence felt at the conclusion of the evening’s main event at Madison Square Garden, dragging rival Seth Rollins from the ring which would ultimately hand ‘The Architect’ the victory over CM Punk after a hard fought cage match.

Reigns soon turned his attention to CM Punk, who was being helped to his feet in the ring by ‘The Wise Man’ Paul Heyman, much to the disgust of the ‘Original Tribal Chief’. The 39 year-old viciously drove Punk into the cage before delivering a thunderous spear to the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion as the show went off the air.

The trio look to be on a collision course for a triple threat bout at WrestleMania 41 in an attempt to settle issues that came to a head at ringside after all three men had been eliminated from the 2025 Royal Rumble match.

CM Punk took to Instagram whilst using a dog face filter to post a video announcing his intentions to attend the upcoming edition of SmackDown, which is set to emanate from Bologna, Italy:

“Paul Heyman tells me that Roman Reigns is going to be in Bologna next Friday for SmackDown.

No, I’m not a SmackDown guy. I’m a red guy. I’m Raw through and through, but I don’t think Roman Reigns is going to show up on my show anytime soon, so I will gleefully show up on his.

See you soon.”
