CM Punk Refuses To Answer Question On Roman Reigns
CM Punk still has little time for Roman Reigns.
Ahead of Survivor Series, Roman Reigns found himself on the receiving end of an unlikely helping hand from CM Punk. On November 22nd, Paul Heyman returned to SmackDown and brought Punk with him, confirming him as the fifth man for the OG Bloodline for WarGames.
There were a few sparks of unease initially, but that went into overdrive during a face-to-face a week later. During the sitdown, Punk to Heyman he owed him a favour.
At Survivor Series there was tension before Reigns and Punk even made it to the ring, with the former preventing Punk from entering the match. When they made it to the ring, Reigns accidentally hit Punk with a Spear as Heyman begged the pair to work together.
In the end, they managed to put their differences aside with Punk saving Reigns from being driven through a table. This eventually led to the OG Bloodline winning the match, but Punk was again quick to remind Heyman that he owed him.
CM Punk Brushes Off Questions About Roman Reigns
During the post-event press conference, Punk was asked about Reigns’ rise in WWE while he was away. Reigns famously debuted as part of The Shield in 2012 at Survivor Series where the group helped Punk retain the World Title.
However, Punk was in no mood to discuss the star further.
Despite the tension, it’s been reported that CM Punk and Roman Reigns will go their separate ways following Survivor Series. According to the report, Reigns will remain aligned with The Usos and Sami Zayn, but Punk will move on.
However, Roman Reigns is expected to be a regular on Monday Night Raw in the early part of 2025 — something that will put him into Punk’s orbit once again.
