CM Punk No Longer Advertised For WWE Premium Live Event

Despite initially being advertised, CM Punk could miss an upcoming WWE PLE.

CM Punk courted controversy in 2020 when he responded to The Miz after the star took a shot at Punk after he had made a surprise appearance on WWE Backstage. CM Punk didn’t hold back as he told Miz to “Go suck a blood money covered d*ck in Saudi Arabia you f*cking dork” in a now deleted Tweet that continues to live long in the memory.

However, some suggested CM Punk’s stance on Saudi Arabia had changed when, in response to a question from a fan online, he said he didn’t hate going to Saudi Arabia as he’d never been.

CM Punk To Miss Saudi Arabia Show?

Punk’s comments came after he was featured in an ad for Night of Champions, which is due to be held in Saudi Arabia on June 28. However, in an updated version of the video shared by the
official Riyadh Season account, Punk has been removed and replaced by Seth Rollins.

Night of Champions will be WWE’s only trip to Saudi Arabia in 2025, ahead of the Royal Rumble being held in the kingdom in early 2026. Crown Jewel, which has found a home in Saudi Arabia since it was created in 2018, will instead be held in Australia.

CM Punk is scheduled to be in action at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 25 when he teams with Sami Zayn to take on Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Elsewhere on the show, Jey Uso will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul.
