CM Punk Is An “Idiot” Says Matt Hardy’s Wife

Reby Hardy is no fan of CM Punk.

CM Punk is currently the most polarising man in all of wrestling, and not for the first time, following his firing from AEW. Punk was involved in a physical altercation backstage with Jack Perry at the event with AEW boss Tony Khan saying that he felt his life was in danger during the goings on.

While Punk has his supporters in the company among the roster with Andrade El Idolo paying tribute to the star, there are also many who won’t miss him and it seems Matt Hardy is one of them.

Taking to TikTok Reby Hardy shared a video of her face timing Matt Hardy with one of their children and complaining how long it took him to answer the phone. The caption on the screen left little doubt about what her opinion is of CM Punk as it read:

“Us bothering her Daddy while he’s busy at work & dealing with idiots like CM Punk while we’re chilling at home eating snacks”

AEW sees changes in a post-CM Punk world

Following the news of Punk’s firing being announced on the 1st of September, The Young Bucks made their debut on Collision later that day. The Bucks and the rest of The Elite had been kept separated from Punk on AEW’s weekly shows but the company had warned their US broadcast partner that the “soft brand split” was ending.
