CM Punk Heading For Gang Warfare In AEW?

The waiting for AEW fans is nearly over as CM Punk will finally return to AEW television on the first edition of Collision but everyone is still wondering what Punk will be doing when he’s back.

Different reports over the past few months have touted both Samoa Joe and Jay White as potential opponents for Punk with the former AEW World Champion said to be an admirer of White.

On the latest SRS Backstage Report on Fightful Select Sean Ross Sapp has now reported that CM Punk could be set for a feud that involves his old friends and current AEW Tag Team Champions FTR. FTR is currently embroiled in a feud with White and his Bullet Club Gold partner Juice Robinson after they stopped the pair from attacking Ricky Starks at Double Or Nothing.

Sapp notes that Punk and FTR could enter into a feud with Bullet Club Gold who could add a third member to even up the sides.

Jay White and Ricky Starks are due to meet on Dynamite in Colorado Springs in a bout where FTR and Juice Robinson will be banned from ringside. Wrestling wisdom suggests that should the top shelf gun slingers be adding a third man to their group, it could spell absolute disaster for Starks.
