CM Punk is the current World Heavyweight Champion. As a champion, he openly speaks his mind during interviews and segments.

Recently, The Best in the World My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox to talk about movies, shows, and his upcoming movie “Night Patrol”.

During the interview, he was asked about his favourite horror villain. To this, Punk asked if Michael Myers could be considered a villain. Following that, he explained why Freddy Krueger was a Republican.

CM Punk has expressed his desire to work with John Cena in Hollywood

The Best in the World has worked with several superstars in his pro-wrestling career. With Hollywood on his mind, he expressed his desire to work with John Cena and even Batista in the future.

I’ve had a couple of meetings and that topic has come up. I can only imagine what John’s slate looks like, it’s probably super, super busy. I’d imagine some time in the future we’ll be working together. I have bucket list names that I want to work with. Selfishly, I want to work with a lot of my friends. Dave (Bautista aka Batista) and John are probably the top two.

CM Punk’s most recent feud was with Bron Breakker. He retained the championship in the singles match against The Badass on January 5th, 2026.
