CM Punk Earns World Title Match At WWE SummerSlam
CM Punk, Jey Uso, Bron Breakker, and Penta entered a Gauntlet Match to decide Gunther’s SummerSlam 2025 challenger.
The Ring General had recently placed the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The match was power-packed, and The Ring General managed to retain against Da Man by putting him in a Sleeper Choke hold.
SummerSlam 2025 is scheduled for August 2nd and 3rd, 2025. This is the first time WWE will host The Biggest Party of the Summer for two nights, and fans are expecting the match card to be one-of-a-kind.
CM Punk pinned Bron Breakker to secure the World Heavyweight Championship opportunity
The Gauntlet match kicked off on Monday Night RAW with Bron Breakker and Penta. Penta tried to secure the upper hand with some vicious kicks to The Dog, but couldn’t keep him down for long. Throughout the match, the former Intercontinental Champion kept manhandling Penta and was finally pinned by Breakker after a Spear.
Following Penta, LA Knight entered the ring. The Megastar did find ways to dominate The Dog. He slammed Breakker’s head onto the announcers’ table, but was slammed ribs-first onto the table as well. Following this, Breakker continued to take advantage of the injured ribs.
He finally executed a Spear on LA Knight, followed by a pin.
Jey Uso entered the ring next. The YEET Master had quite a hold over the situation and had attempted a pin as well. However, Bron Breakker received assistance from Bronson Reed. The 330 lbs superstar appeared out of nowhere and knocked out Uso. Breakker finished him off with a Spear and a pin.
Finally, CM Punk entered the ring. He charged directly at Breakker, punching and clotheslining him over the top rope.

The Best in the World mocked Paul Heyman as he took down the powerhouse. While the two continued to battle, Reed tried to create a new distraction. After taking down Punk with an elbow drop, he set him up for a Tsunami.
However, Main Event Jey ran out to the arena to save him. Bron Breakker attempted a Spear, but was taken down with a GTS and finally, a pin.
