CM Punk Doesn’t Hate Going To Saudi Arabia
CM Punk says he doesn’t hate going to Saudi Arabia, as questions have arisen over his status for Night of Champions in June.
WWE has announced it will return to Saudi Arabia for Night Of Champions on 28th June. It marks the first Premium Live Event to emanate from Saudi Arabia since Crown Jewel on 2nd November 2024. It was a memorable night that saw Cody Rhodes defeat Gunther to lift the men’s Crown Jewel Championship, whilst Liv Morgan claimed victory over Nia Jax to capture the women’s equivalent of the title.
Some fans were taken aback when CM Punk featured in advertising for the show, as he has yet to compete in Saudi Arabia since his return to WWE.
Punk courted controversy in 2020 when he responded to The Miz after the star took a shot at Punk after he had made a surprise appearance on WWE Backstage. CM Punk didn’t hold back as he told Miz to “Go suck a blood money covered d*ck in Saudia Arabia you f*cking dork” in a now deleted Tweet that continues to live long in the memory.
CM Punk Has Never Been To Saudi Arabia
CM Punk was on Instagram Live when he was asked why he hated going to Saudi Arabia, to which Punk replied:
I’ve never been to Saudi, I don’t hate coming to Saudi.
Whether or not CM Punk appears at Night of Champions remains to be seen, but he might find, like other WWE stars have in the past, that there are millions of reasons to enjoy going to Saudi Arabia.
