CM Punk Declares Rivalry With WWE Star “Uber Personal”

WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk has been on a roll ever since returning to the promotion in 2023. The Voice of the Voiceless has been involved in various feuds during his current run in the company.

While he had been feuding with Seth Rollins for what seemed like an eternity, his first major feud since his return was against Drew McIntyre, and that was what got fans really excited.

It all started when Drew injured Punk during the 2024 Royal Rumble, ruling him out of that year’s WrestleMania and thing just escalated from there on. They are now set to face each other at Survivor Series in the men’s WarGames match.

CM Punk explains why its uber personal with WWE star

Speaking ahead of his WarGames clash, CM Punk stated that the rivalry between him and Drew McIntyre is uber personal. He was talking on ESPN’s This Just In where he explained that he doesn’t like Drew as he made some remarks about Punk’s wife and dog.

“It’s uber personal with me and him [Drew]. You know, I think most of humanity doesn’t like Logan Paul—and it’s because he’s a douche. You can just watch him and be like, ‘Yeah, okay, I don’t like that guy. I don’t like his face. I don’t like his attitude. I don’t like his broccoli haircut. Drew McIntyre is just kind of a next-level personal thing. You know, said some things about my wife and my dog,” Punk said.

CM Punk’s wife, AJ Lee, recently made her return to WWE as well. The couple wrestled their first match together at Wrestlepalooza against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch and are now set to compete in their respective WarGames matches at Survivor Series.
