CM Punk Given Custom Title Belt At AEW Collision (VIDEO)

CM Punk

CM Punk made his big return to AEW on the debut edition of Collision and had some scores to settle, a notable one being to do with the AEW World Championship.

At All Out 2022, CM Punk captured the AEW World Title from Jon Moxley but by the time the following edition of Dynamite aired, Punk had been stripped of his title due to his part in the infamous backstage fight involving The Elite.

It seems that CM Punk had forgotten about his championship status as he came to the ring on Collision clutching a bag that fans were led to believe contained his AEW World Title belt although the belt itself was never shown on screen.

Video footage has now emerged online from the show that sees Punk being gifted his own custom title belt from Chicago Blackhawks’ mascot Tommy Hawk. The United Center where Collision took place is the home of the NHL team that Punk is a big fan of.

In the main event of the first episode of Collision CM Punk teamed with AEW Tag Team Champions FTR to defeat the trio of Samoa Joe, Juice Robinson, and Jay White. While not confirmed, there have been reports that there is a plan in place for Punk to be a part of Forbidden Door in a long-awaited match against KENTA.
