CM Punk Vows To Confront Roman Reigns On Overseas WWE Show

CM Punk

Roman Reigns sent a message to Seth Rollins and CM Punk on Raw, now Punk wants to return the favour even if it means travelling over land and sea.

At the Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns was eliminated at the same time as Seth Rollins by CM Punk. Rollins was enraged by what happened and took out Reigns with a nasty double-foot Stomp to get to Punk. When those two men were separated, Rollins hit his former Shield partner with another Stomp on the steel steps for good measure.

On the March 10 edition of Raw, Seth Rollins and CM Punk looked set to put their issues with one another behind them once and for all in a steel cage match. With Rollins looking on the verge of victory, Roman Reigns pulled the cage door open and dragged Rollins to the floor – giving him the unintended victory in the process.

Roman Reigns nailed Rollins with a Superman Punch, Spear, and Stomp of his own before he noticed what was happening in the ring. Reigns wasn’t alone as Paul Heyman returned with him but Heyman was in the ring consoling his old friend CM Punk – a man Heyman still owes a favour to. Upon seeing this, Reigns got in the ring and drove CM Punk into the cage before one more Spear to take him out and stand tall as the show went off the air.

CM Punk Coming For Roman Reigns

Taking to his Instagram stories, CM Punk posted a video complete with a dog filter where he noted that Paul Heyman had revealed Roman Reigns would be on SmackDown in Bologna, Italy on March 21. Punk said even though SmackDown wasn’t his show since Reigns had made his presence felt on Raw, he’d be happy to return the favour.

What will happen when Punk and Reigns come face-to-face on SmackDown remains to be seen but it’s unlikely they’ll settle their differences over a piadina or a classic gelato cone in Italy’s food capital.
