CM Punk Breaks Silence On AJ Lee’s WWE Return With Explicit Message

CM Punk has finally commented on AJ Lee’s WWE return.

The Second City Saint has been involved in a heated rivalry with Seth Rollins for a long time. The Visionary’s wife, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, involved herself in the storyline at Clash in Paris when she interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship Fatal 4-Way match to low blow Punk and help her husband retain.

On the following Monday Night RAW, she confronted The Best in the World and even slapped him across the face several times. He responded to her actions, vowing to make her regret it.

Last Friday on SmackDown, Lynch headed to the ring in Punk’s hometown of Chicago and cut a promo, insulting the city and its heroes, including Punk. She was interrupted by The Second City Saint, who gave her one last chance to get herself out of his rivalry with her husband. She responded by slapping him again.

Punk then retreated from the ring and told Lynch that although he would not hit a woman, he knew someone who would, leading to AJ Lee’s return for the first time in a decade.

What Did CM Punk Say About AJ Lee’s Return?

Following her comeback, AJ Lee attacked Becky Lynch, forcing The Man to retreat from the ring. The three-time Divas Champion then celebrated in the ring with her husband, CM Punk.

The Second City Saint finally commented on his wife’s comeback through an Instagram story. He shared a photo of Lee’s celebrations while he watched her.

“April. F**king. Mendez. (And yes I am staring at her a**),” Punk captioned the photo.

With Lee’s return, it is expected that she will team up with CM Punk to face the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza. Lee has also teased going after Lynch’s title as she celebrated with the belt after SmackDown went off the air.
