WWE Announces Triple Threat Matches On Raw As Money In The Bank Qualifiers

WWE Raw Jey Uso Superkick

There will be two triple-threat matches on WWE Monday Night Raw for wrestlers wanting to qualify for Money in the Bank.

The WWE Clash at the Castle PLE is in the background while the next Premium Live Event on the WWE calendar is Money in the Bank on July 6th in Toronto.

At the Money in the Bank PLE, there will be a Men’s and Women’s Ladder Match where the only way to win is to climb a ladder and retrieve the briefcase hanging above the ring. In the briefcase is a contract that the winner can use to cash in on a champion any time they want.

As we saw at WrestleMania 40 when Damian Priest cashed in on Drew McIntyre, it can be a huge moment for somebody like Priest as a first-time World Heavyweight Champion while McIntyre was heartbroken to have a title reign that lasted just under six minutes.

Since Money in the Bank is less than three weeks away, the company will start having qualifying matches to see who are in the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches.

What Money In The Bank Qualifying Matches Are Set For WWE Raw?

On the WWE social media channels, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced a Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match. Both of them will be triple threat matches.

The women’s match is former Women’s Champion IYO SKY vs. LWO member Zelina Vega vs. Raw newcomer Kiana James.

Meanwhile, the men’s match will see Raw’s number one draft pick Jey Uso vs. former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio vs. The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor.

Out of the six wrestlers in matches tonight, IYO SKY is the only one to have won Money in the Bank in the past. Sky won the briefcase in 2023 and would go on to become the WWE Women’s Champion as well.

Pearce also mentioned that there will also be fallout from Clash at the Castle as well.
