CM Punk Reacts To AJ Lee’s Surprise WWE Raw Comeback

CM Punk has been rendered almost speechless following AJ Lee’s shock return to WWE Raw.

After ten years away from WWE, AJ Lee returned to the company earlier in 2025 to help her husband, CM Punk, in his battles with Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. That led to Punk and Lee winning a huge mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza, but after that bout, Lee returned to the sidelines.

CM Punk, meanwhile, went on to recapture the World Heavyweight Championship after Rollins was forced to vacate the title due to injury. Rollins was believed to have been injured during his Crown Jewel bout with Cody Rhodes, but was written off TV thanks to The Vision betraying him and laying him out in vicious fashion.

Now on Raw in Madison Square Garden, AJ Lee has returned once again, and it seems she still has Becky Lynch firmly in her sights. Lee helped Maxxine Dupri shock the world and defeat Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

AJ Lee Meets Rhea Ripley

Lee also came face-to-face backstage with former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, and that was apparently too much to bear for CM Punk. Punk took to social media to write “RAAAAAAAHH” over a screengrab of Ripley and Lee’s meeting, and he’s likely not the only one excited to see the two stars sharing a screen.

It looks like AJ Lee will join Rhea Ripley’s WarGames team at Survivor Series, meaning that it’s highly likely that Becky Lynch will join Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend’s squad.
