CM Punk Reveals AJ Lee’s Real Feelings About WWE Return

Once again, CM Punk and AJ Lee are working with WWE at the same time. The last time this happened was in 2014, right before Punk left the company.

AJ Lee returned to the company ahead of Wrestlepalooza. For the event, she teamed up with The Best in the World, and together, they took down Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

Following that, Lee distracted Lynch during the Intercontinental Championship match, which led to The Man losing the title. Next, she joined the babyfaces for the Women’s WarGames match and won it!

CM Punk expressed how AJ Lee is feeling since her WWE return

The Second City Saint spoke about The Black Widow’s WWE return during an episode of What’s For Lunch with Chef Donnie. He revealed that she is having the time of her life, and so is he!

Nobody’s happier or more proud of her than I am. And she’s having the time of her life. And I am too… selfishly really having the time of my life.

He further revealed that she is experiencing the things he has been experiencing since his return to WWE at Elimination Chamber 2023.

I’m her biggest fan. So, it was super exciting for me to be able—I mean, it’s the same thing with Cena. I get to work next to Cena and watch him exit, and I get to partner up with my wife and watch her experience all this stuff that I experienced two years ago when I came back to WWE.

CM Punk’s next match is against Bron Breakker for the World Heavyweight Championship.
