In addition to being a brilliant wrestler, Becky Lynch has a vested interest in acting, too.

Lynch was last seen in Happy Gilmore 2, a sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 Hollywood flick.

During an earlier appearance on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, she revealed that she would be starring in the upcoming Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series.

The show also features veterans like Holly Hunter, Tig Notaro, and Paul Giamatti.

Paramount has now released an exclusive 4-minute clip involving a battle scene, where Becky Lynch can be seen briefly.

Lynch stars as a bridge crew member, appearing in the clip around the 1:58 and 2:16 mark.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will premiere on Paramount+ on January 15, 2026.

During an interview with Collider, the 38-year-old revealed what it was like growing up watching Star Trek in Ireland.

I grew up when Star Trek was one of the two shows that was on TV in Ireland, on whatever four channels we had, so it was always on in the background. I can’t say that I sat down and watched, but I did love the movies. And Colm Meaney. We all love Colm Meaney, any time he was on, you sit down and watch that. [H/T: Collider.com]

WWE Launches Investigation After Becky Lynch’s Accusations

Becky Lynch recently appeared on Something’s Burning, where she revealed the earlier struggles of female wrestlers in WWE.

She spoke about the existence of a male wrestler who used his influence to blacklist any woman who refused to sleep with him.

While the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion did not name anyone, the company made cognizance of her comments and has reportedly launched an investigation.

Meanwhile, a former wrestler of the Stamford promotion speculated that the individual could be a six-time ex-world champion.
