City For John Cena’s Final WWE Match Revealed
John Cena’s final bout will take place in Boston, Massachussetts.
The legendary Superstar is on a global farewell tour having announced that he would bring down the curtain on his storied in-ring career at the end of 2025 during a surprise appearance at Money In The Bank on 6th July 2024.
Cena went on to finish as the runner-up to Jey Uso at the 2025 Royal Rumble before stunning the wrestling world at Elimination Chamber by viciously assaulting Cody Rhodes after securing a shot at the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. The veteran stars villainous actions came after it had become clear that he had opted to align with ‘The Final Boss’ The Rock.
After capturing the WWE Championship from Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, Cena successfully defended the gold against old foe Randy Orton at Backlash on 11th May.
The former ‘Doctor Of Thuganomics’ will bid goodbye to his in-ring career in December, with WCVB revealing that the 17-time World Champion’s final bout will take place in December at the TD Garden in Boston, less than 50 miles from Cena’s hometown of West Newbury, Massachusetts.
John Cena Attacks Beloved Star After Backlash
John Cena defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship at Backlash in St Louis, Missouri, on 10th May, largely thanks to unlikely assistance from veteran Superstar, R Truth.
Far from being grateful for the help, Cena demonstrated his evil side once again by driving R Truth through a table during the WWE post-Backlash Press Conference.
