Christian Cage has no interest in Adam Copeland’s awesome request.

The October 4th episode of Dynamite was heavily promoted around the debut of AEW’s newest signee and what his intentions were in his new home.

As Tony Schiavone introduced Copeland to the California crowd, the former World Champion jokingly asked Schiavone to get out of the ring. The Hall of Famer teased a future match with the World Champion before listing off multiple dream matches that could take place in AEW.

When the list was completed, Copeland made it clear that the reason he left WWE was when his daughter told him to “go and have fun with Uncle Jay.” Copeland then called out Cage to the ring, which the TNT Champion obliged after a brief delay.

Copeland referenced their 40-year friendship before describing how irate he got that Cage attacked Sting at WrestleDream. Despite the anger, Copeland made his intentions clear that he wanted to reunite the partnership for the first time in over 20 years, pitching dream matches against FTR and The Young Bucks.

When The Rated R Superstar finished his pitch, the two men embraced, much to the delight of the crowd. The cheers quickly turned to shock when Cage raised the microphone to his mouth and uttered the following 3 words:

Go f*ck yourself!

Cage ended the segment by reminding his former best friend what he will be up against on October 10th, bringing Luchasaurus out to the stage.
