Chris Jericho’s AEW Status Revealed After 2-Month Hiatus
Chris Jericho’s absence from AEW has not gone unnoticed among wrestling fans.
The former AEW World Champion last wrestled during the Dynasty pay-per-view event on April 6. His Title vs. Mask match against Bandido ended in a loss, crowning Bandido the Ring of Honor World Champion.
In the following Dynamite episode, Jericho was seen fuming at his Learning Tree stablemates, Big Bill and Bryan Keith, due to their failure to win the Tag Team Championship and not helping him retain his title.
He then announced his departure from AEW programming, leaving his potential return uncertain.

Reports suggested that Jericho wished to connect with his rock band, Fozzy, and complete his current tour.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer recently spoke about the former champion’s absence on the brand. In a shocking admission, he claimed that neither he nor AEW has discussed his comeback.
His Fozzy tour is over, so right now, he’s done some TV work while he’s been gone—a couple of TV shows that he filmed. But as far as coming back to AEW, there’s nothing on the table right now. As far as, is he ready and available? I mean, you know, technically, he’s always been available, because even when he tours, Wednesday is open. But you know, I think that he felt that it was time for a break, and so that’s the deal with them.
When the 54-year-old will return, or if he will, continues to remain a hot topic of discussion among fans.

Thx to everybody at #Crusherfest for having @kuarantine3! Amazing show and hundreds of amazing people came to rock and party in honor of the late great #TheCrusher!
I was a huge fan of his when I was a kid watching #AWA in Winnipeg and even asked my mom if I could go drink beer… pic.twitter.com/Ehlvow3r4W
