Chris Jericho Trademarks New AEW Move
Chris Jericho never stops evolving and now after introducing a new move with an insider name, the AEW star has sought to trademark it.
On the February 22 edition of AEW Collision, Chris Jericho put his ROH World Championship on the line against former champion Bandido. During the bout, Jericho hit a headscissors on his opponent but not before stopping and waving to the crowd while yelling his latest catchphrase – ‘Hi guys!’
Tony Schiavone revealed on commentary that Jericho was calling the move ‘The Hi Spot’ in reference to the ‘high spot’ term used by wrestlers when putting together their match. Jim Ross was naturally irked by Schiavone’s revelation on commentary but it seems the move is here to stay.
