Chris Jericho To Replace Huge WWE Name Upon Return?
Chris Jericho is reportedly returning to WWE.
Jericho left the Stamford-based company in 2018. The following year, the 55-year-old legend joined AEW, where he became one of the promotion’s cornerstones.
However, the former AEW World Champion has been off television for several months amid reports suggesting his contract is set to expire by the end of this year.
Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated recently reported that his sources believe the future Hall of Famer will show up on WWE television very soon.
Ex-WWE Star Wants Chris Jericho To Replace RAW GM Adam Pearce
Former WWE Superstar Jonathan Coachman took to X/Twitter to address the latest reports about Chris Jericho’s potential return to the Stamford-based company.
He suggested that the former Undisputed WWE Champion replace RAW General Manager Adam Pearce as an on-screen authority figure rather than returning as an in-ring competitor.
I have seen all of the wrestling sites jump on this one with very little to no proof that this is the case. But If this is true. No one is talking about what role he would play. We haven’t see him wrestle in months. He’s one of my favorites all time but if I am using him the best way I get rid of Pierce and out Jericho in the authority role which he would absolutely crush.
The backstage and in ring promos would be awesome. He doesn’t need to be a top in ring talent because he would need to wrestle at least 3-4 times a month and not sure if he wants to or can perform high level 30 minute matches thr much.
