Chris Jericho Teases Next Move Will Be The Best Of His Career

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is relishing keeping people guessing just what his future holds.

Chris Jericho has been missing from AEW for several months, leading to serious questions about his future in the company.

Jericho was one of the AEW originals signed by Tony Khan, and he became the first-ever AEW World Champion at All Out in 2019. The last time fans saw him, however, was at Dynasty in April 2025 when he lost the Ring of Honor World Championship to Bandido.

It is widely believed that Jericho’s AEW deal expires at the end of the year, meaning he’d be free to sign elsewhere unless he agrees to a new deal. Speculation, therefore, is running wild that Jericho could be set for a huge return to WWE at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

But whatever’s next could still be Jericho’s finest moment.

Chris Jericho Says The Best Is Yet To Come

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Chris Jericho was asked about the top moments from his career and explained that he’s keeping a blank space in his number one slot:

That’s cool, that’s the way I always think of it. What’s your favorite moment of your career and I always say current, because if I didn’t think it was the best then why am I doing it.

You always want to say that your next match will be your best one or your next show will be your best one, and that’s the way you should look at things. So yeah, leave the space blank and we’ll see what happens to put something cool into that slot.
