Chris Jericho Surprised By Returning Star After ROH Title Match
Chris Jericho put his ROH World Championship on the line at Final Battle but he might have found another rival as the most wanted makes themselves known.
Chris Jericho was shocked by his next ROH World Title challenger as Matt Cardona emerged on AEW television to demand a title shot against the self-proclaimed King of New York. The match was made for Final Battle on December 20 in Hammerstein Ballroom but Jericho wasn’t waiting until then to get his hands on the King of the Indies.
At Final Battle, Chris Jericho defeated Cardona to retain his title but the night was far from done. The Learning Tree’s Big Bill and Bryan Keith continued to attack Cardona after the match before The Most Wanted Bandido made his return to Ring of Honor.
Bandido Takes The Fight To Chris Jericho
Vignettes featuring Bandido, who has been out of action since June 2023, have aired on AEW TV in recent weeks. The Mexican star took the fight to The Learning Tree as he nailed Big Bill with a kick. Bandido then took to the top rope and nailed Jericho with a dropkick but that move has caused some concern. Bandido clearly hit his head hard on the ring and referees had to check on him before he got up to continue the fight.

Bandido previously held the ROH World Title in 2021 and it looks like he might be going after that championship once again.
