Chris Jericho Looks Unrecognizable Amid AEW Hiatus (Photo)
Chris Jericho has been absent from television since April.
His last appearance in AEW was during the April 9 episode, wherein he confronted his ‘The Learning Tree’ stablemates Big Bill and Bryan Keith.
Jericho appeared livid at the pair for failing to capture the tag team belts, and more so for failing to assist him during his ROH World Championship title defense against Bandido at AEW Dynasty the previous night.
He then informed everyone that he would be leaving for a while.
The former WWE champion, however, has ensured that he keeps his fans updated about his status.
In a recent post he shared on X, Chris Jericho also uploaded a picture of himself relaxing, while announcing his excitement about being at the Washington State Summer Convention.
Have a great week, everybody! Make some cool shit happen and see you all at @wasummercon this weekend! pic.twitter.com/RYWG3Qb5Rd

Fans were quick to note the 54-year-old’s significant weight drop, looking unrecognizable.
Is Chris Jericho Returning To AEW Soon?
Chris Jericho is vital to AEW, but his lengthy absence prompted fans to question whether the veteran was still part of the company. The good news is that he is.
Nevertheless, the writers currently do not have a storyline for him or his return.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio had addressed Jericho’s time away and his tour with his rock band Fozzy.
His Fozzy tour is over. So it’s like right now he’s done some TV work while he’s been gone, a couple of TV shows that were, he filmed, but, as far as, coming back to AEW there’s, you know, nothing on the table right now, but I think he’s you know, as far as is he ready and available? I mean, technically he’s always been available, even when he tours. Wednesday’s opened, but, you know, I think that he felt that it was time for a break. And so that’s that. So that’s the deal with them.
Jericho had recently made a public appearance at Crusherfest in Milwaukee.
