Chris Jericho In Great Shape Ahead Of Rumored WWE Return (Photo)
Chris Jericho’s more recent photo has surfaced online amid rumors of his WWE return.
The wrestler/musician posted a picture of himself with American television host Matthew Pinfield after the latter’s appearance on Talk Is Jericho.
During the podcast, the two veterans discussed Pinfield’s accident and stroke, and subsequent rehabilitation. They also spoke about their love for music, discussing the late Ozzy Osbourne, Nirvana, Metallica, and more.
Y2J’s post comes at a time when the rumor of his alleged return to WWE is gaining momentum.
In the picture, Chris Jericho looks in great shape, which was also evidenced by his birthday post, where he uploaded a shirtless picture of himself, looking jacked.
Jericho’s AEW contract ended at midnight on December 31, 2025, rendering him a free agent. He was last seen on TV on the Dynamite episode following Dynasty in April, where he announced that he would be taking time off.
On his way out, he smashed a few pieces of equipment after lashing out at his The Learning Tree stablemates, Big Bill and Bryan Keith.

Chris Jericho Could Return To WWE Sooner Than Expected
The hype surrounding Chris Jericho has only gained momentum since his contract with AEW expired.
Earlier, reports suggested that he could return to WWE around or at the Royal Rumble PLE in Saudi Arabia on January 31. However, a report from Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated claims that he could appear in the company as soon as the first Monday Night Raw of 2026.
On January 5, the brand will celebrate its first anniversary of being on Netflix.
Several matches have already been announced beforehand, including CM Punk’s first title defense of his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker.
Previous rumors have claimed that WWE has been planning to give him a John Cena-like retirement tour.
