Chris Jericho Set For Huge Match At AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door (SPOILER)
Chris Jericho will be part of a tag team at the AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door PPV.
As the FTW Champion, Chris Jericho has shown a willingness to defend the “For The World” Title. However, the former AEW World Champion won’t have to defend the title at Forbidden Door.
On Thursday evening in Allentown, PA, All Elite Wrestling taped the June 22nd episode of Collision and the June 28th edition of Rampage.
During the Collision taping, the team of Chris Jericho & Big Bill defeated Private Party in tag team action. After the match, Jericho & Bill continued the attack on Private Party. The save was made by the trio of Samoa Joe, Orange Cassidy & Katsuyori Shibata.
After making the save, Samoa Joe challenged Jericho’s trio to a tag team match at AEW Forbidden Door. That means at Forbidden Door it will be Chris Jericho, Big Bill & Bryan Keith facing off against Samoa Joe, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata. Samoa Joe, like Jericho is a former AEW World Champion.
Chris Jericho beat Hook for the FTW Title at the Dynasty PPV in April. Since then, Jericho’s “Learning Tree” gimmick has added Big Bill and Bryan Keith as allies.
